David Cook - The Quiet Night

This Quiet Night features an alternative take on some of the material from Cook’s This Loud Morning. The acoustic EP’s sparser arrangements showcase the artist’s vocal talents (and his band’s finesse) while still providing plenty of drive for these heartfelt songs of love and loss. Cook has one of the best voices in the rock business, and it’s a pleasure to have these creative variations. Perhaps the future holds more acoustic exploration for this talented singer/songwriter. Standout tracks: Goodbye to the Girl, Paper Heart. Highly recommended.
